I was just a young girl when I started working at
C & L. Bill was a regular, friendly face for quite some time before I ever came around. After his suppers at Subway, he would come in and grab a Coca Cola from the fridge and keep me company every night while I closed up shop. He was so kind, from offering to help me take out the garbages in the dark so I wouldn’t have to walk, bringing me and my family fresh potatoes from his garden, to always remembering what I was getting up to in life as I grew up. I hadn’t had the chance to sit and visit with him in a while now as life has taken me other places, I wish I could stop in just one more time. I will never forget his stories and his simple kindness, thank you for your friendship Bill.
