Jack you will be greatly missed. You will always be my favorite person I had gotten the opportunity to look after. From learning how to play pool at hemstock to visiting you in the hospital. You and Jo made everyday special at hemstock during my shifts. I will always cherish watching 3s company with you during my supper breaks. Will miss you always. My condolences to your family. You will never be forgotten and will always be missed.

I am very sorry for your loss. Jack was one of the coffee group at Tim’s with my mom, Gene Till and Mary Whiting, sharing stories and poking fun. I enjoyed listening to their lively banter. May Jack rest in peace.

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to Jack’s Family.
Jack was like part of our family, he and my Uncle Joe Witzaney were the best of friends over the years of them living in the Hemstock. They golfed, went on road trips, helped out with events at the Hemstock, enjoyed coffee at Tim’s, going to Walmart and many other things they did throughout their friendship. Jack was always invited to our house on special holidays to join us in our meal. He came most times. Our kids and grandkids got to know him. His sense of humour, big hugs and big personality will be missed. Jack had many struggles throughout his life, but he never once complained, he worked hard at being independent and living life. Uncle Joe misses you so much, but knows you are at peace and in no more pain. Thanks for being part of our family Jack, Rest in Peace.
Brian and Terese Witzaney

Jack was always a breath of fresh air! All of us at the Lloydminster RCMP enjoyed having Jack around. Oliver and Laura were an absolute delight, too. A lovely family. Unfortunately, I lost contact with Jack in the last decade or so, but it is nice, by looking at his photo, that he was still smiling. He will be missed for sure!

My husband and I were deeply saddened to hear of Jacks passing. Our sincere condolences go out to his family. Having just found out today we were heartbroken we didn’t get to the funeral. I first met Jack through my Dad at Dr. Cooke. They sat at the same dining room table and quickly became friends. As Dads health declined …Jack was always concerned and would check in on him. My Dad would always say “more people should be like Jack” and how true that is. Jack was the most positive person I ever met. I’m sure he inspired many people over the years including myself. I will miss your stories, jokes and most of all our friendship. Rest in peace Jack. Patti and Fred Falkner.

Jack...you were a legend! "Tim's 1" was the favorite meeting place along with many others over the years. What a group...and of course, lots of laughs with "Jack and Joe" Some of my best remembrances with Mary (mom) & Gene, Gordon & Verla, Sabra etc....lots of laughs over a good cup of coffee...morning and sometimes afternoons!! RIP Jack.
With fondness, and sympathy to his family.
Sincerely
Pat Creech

Jack you were truly a treasure and will missed by so many . I am in shock you are gone . Your smile and your stories will stick in my mind . I am so glad I got to know you and take care of you at the Dr. Cooke . There are some people that can make a real impact in your life and you are one of them. I remember as you saw my mobility changing you said Laura we are in this together . Keep walking as long as you can .As I am in wheelchair now, here is my cane if you need it . I said I am still young so hope my mobility doesn’t change so quickly. As we share a birthday and your mom has the same name as me you never forgot me. No matter what my journey looks like I will keep smiling like you did . Miss you lots until one day we meet again .

My condolences to family and friends. Knew of Jack at the Hemstock and the Dr Cooke when I went to visit mom at those two homes.
He was very friendly and of course he would give the nurses and residents a hard time with lots of fun. When the nurses were giving out the residence Xmas gifts at the Xmas dinner, they had a lump of coal for Jack!! Well everyone enjoyed it but Jack but soon he was good with the joke. Fun times around Jack. RIP Jack!

I will miss Jack. For the last year and a bit he has shared a table with my dad - Len Long at the Dr Cooke. I enjoyed getting to know Jack and was inspired by his positive spirit. We both love to laugh and shared many jokes together. Rest in peace Jack.
