Our Condolences to Bill's surviving siblings, his children & their spouses, his grandchildren, and his special friend Julie.
Bill sure was a friendly and sincere person. He would always greet you with a big Hello, a smile and a handshake! He always seemed so happy to see you. We didn't see him often, as we live away, but it was a joy to visit with him when we did meet him!
From reading his Obituary, Bill created a Legacy, that his family and friends will be able to cherish forever!

What a shock to hear of Bill's passing! Days before we enjoyed a lenthy phone conversation with Bill. He was letting us know he was moving to a Senior facility with 2 bedrooms, so there would be room for us to stay when we come to Lloyd. Also he looked forward to Kelly and Catherine coming for Christmas.
We have many fond memories dating back to 1969 spending a lot of time together with Lorna and Bill. We were sad when they moved back to Lloyd, although we were still able to enjoy times together. They were back home with family and friends, thus we were happy for them.
Bill was a kind, caring, hard woking man. He was a very good friend to us. We will miss him plus his phone calls and stories.

Bill has been a good neighbour and friend for over 20 years. To our neighbourhood he brought a small town feel, always having time for a coffee, driveway visit, to lend a hand, or simply just to wave. We shared many stories about trucking, farming, fixing, gardening and days gone by. He was a hard worker who knew also how to slow down. On many occasions, be it on the front porch or in a backyard, he'd help us do just that. We'd sit. We'd share. We'd soak in life. He loved his family dearly and spoke of his kids and grandkids often, sharing photos and memories in our conversations. His kindness shone through in the simple things like his genuine concern for how our son is doing, bringing over a pail of raspberries or apples, or or in the smile you'd receive if returned them in a pie. Bill would often say "well, I should probably get moseying.." which usually meant we'd share a few more stories, most of his starting with that same phrase. We're sad to see you've mosied on to your final resting place, but some day we'll sit on a bench again dear friend. May perpetual light shine upon you.
