Maureen and family, and Betty and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Even though we were second cousins, I didn’t really know Blair well until the early 1980’s, when I spent 2 summers working in St. Walburg and Bright Sand Lake. Blair, our cousin Blake and I had lots of fun those summers, and the guys were so patient as they attempted to teach me how to golf. After that I managed to stay in touch, for a while, by attending hockey games with Bill and Marguerite…it was so exciting to see him play the game he loved. Although we haven’t been in touch for many years…that can happen in life…it was always great to hear a little bit about Blair’s lovely family, in Marguerite’s annual Christmas note.

Many years ago I was privileged to attend high school in St.Walburg with Blair. One memory I have is how Blair could run just like the wind. He certainly was fast. I did outrun him once but then his shoes were soaking wet.
I have not saw Blair in many years however I still consider him a good friend.
My thoughts are with Betty, Maureen and the rest of the family. May the beautiful memories carry you and ease the pain of your loss.
