So sorry to hear about Stan’s passing. He was a great cousin. He was always smiling and happy. We recently saw him at Elaine’s surprise birthday party, and he made a point of coming over to talk to us, this meant so much to us. This was such a shock. Hugs to the Steier family and Collette. Stan was a such great guy ....he was involved with our family in Golden Prairie At our family farm Oct 2024....it was so nice that Stan drove all the way from Lloydminister To attend our dad's funeral July 2025.....he did a surprise visit to Med Hat to our family at a party Oct 28 2025 he phoned my Mom wished her a happy birthday....he was happy to talk to her ...to tell her that stans mom had the same Birthday Stan was such a nice guy ...always there to help out anyone RIP MR stan Rhonda.....Robert (Cherryl) ..his Golden Prairie adopted Mom Anita Jackle

So sorry to hear of cousin Stanley’s passing! I have great memories of family celebrations at Christmas with all the cousins and aunts and uncles and our Grandma and Grandpa! Also visits to the Steiert farm and even witnessing the butchering of chickens! Quite an eye opener for a city girl! Hope the family takes comfort in remembering all the good times and rest assured that Stanley is in a wonderful place! I remember holding him as a baby. He was so cute. He was the New Years baby at the Prelate Hospital. Lots of other good memories. We will miss him. From his Godmother Aunt Irene and family.

So shocking to hear of Stan’s passing. As a cousin, and neighbour growing up near Prelate, i have so many fond and funny memories of time spent with Stan. In later years, even though our paths did not cross as frequently, it was as though we were able to catch up like time stood still, and enjoy many good laughs. Sincere condolences to all Stan’s loved ones. Cherish those fond memories!!

I knew Stan when he worked at the elevator in Golden Prairie. He was a couple years older than myself and my high school girlfriends which was great because he was old enough to be our “bootlegger”! Stan was the absolute best neighbor anyone could ask for. He was always taking care of someone or helping someone out. He also had a great sense of humor and brought much joy to our lives. He loved his family and his friends and loved nothing more than talking about them, except maybe talking about his car. ;) Stan will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Colette, and to all his family and friends.
