Cecil Merlin Reid passed away at Wainwright Health Care Centre, Wainwright, Alberta on April 25, 2025 at the age of 85 years.

Cecil is survived by: his loving wife, Yvonne Reid; sons, Kevin (Lisa) Reid, Terry (Jill Hughes) Reid and David (Renata Callaway) Reid; grandchildren, Braden (Jackie) and their children Daxson and Casey, Shelby (Wes), Corbin, Amy (Kelton), Kassie (Cody); sisters, Myrna (Gary) Wallace and Carol (Sonny) Johnsey; brother-in-law, Charlie Mauws; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Cecil is predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Hazel Reid; sister, Lois (Neil) Hudson; sister, Kari Mauws; and brother-in-law, "Butch".

The Funeral Service for Cecil will be conducted from Zion Lutheran Church, McLaughlin, AB on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM.

Donations in memory of Cecil may be made to PV Fire and Rescue or Zion Lutheran Church.
