Rita Baert passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, SK on November 30, 2025 at the age of 100 years.

Rita is survived by: her son, Moe; daughters-in-law, Wyn and Jeannette; son-in-law, John; grandchildren, Ken (Noelia), Doug (Kristy), Mark (Lyn), Tyler, Owen and Chase (Dana); step-grandchildren, Chantal (Ty), Shawn and Kelly (Marilyn); and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rita was predeceased by: her husband, Archie; parents, Albert and Julienne; sons, Gerry, Frank, Ron; daughter, Brenda; daughters-in-law, Sheila; brothers, Henri and Leon; and sisters, Loretta "Pearl" and Isabelle.

The Prayer Vigil will be conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, AB on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 5:00 PM.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Rita will be conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, AB on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Rita's obituary.

Donations in memory of Rita may be made to St. Anthony's CWL or donor's charity of choice.
