Gayla Marie Cruikshank passed away at Pioneer Lodge, Lloydminster, Alberta on January 20, 2026 at the age of 77 years.

Gayla is survived by:  loving husband, Richard "Dick"; children, Sherry (Rick) Dyck and Shawn (Abbey) Cruikshank; grandchildren, Kaelyn (Kai), Karly, Liam and Avery; brother, Donald (Shelley) Byrnes;  neice, Nicole Byrnes, extended family and friends.

Gayla was predeceased by: her parents, Francis and Delores Brynes (Huxley).

A private family service will be held at a later date.
