It’s with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eldron "Skipper" Short, who passed away peacefully at home on December 22, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Skipper is survived by his loving wife, Loretta; daughters, Tonya (Sheldon) Weir and Teraza (Stephen) Janes; grandchildren, Jordan (Katharina) Weir, Joshua Weir, Gabriella (Spencer) Janes and Loghan Janes; and great-grandchildren, Wesley Weir and Briar Pike; siblings, Marjorie Budden, Joan (Ken) Lush and Mervin (Yvonne) Short; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Skipper is predeceased by: his parents, Cecil and Nina Short.

The Funeral Service for Skipper will be conducted from Living Faith Pentecostal Tabernacle, Lloydminster, AB on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
