Russell "Eddie" Lang passed away at Vermilion Health Center, Vermilion, AB on August 30, 2025 at the age of 72 years.

Eddie is lovingly remembered by: his spouse, Glenda Swyripa; children, Lorena (Darryl) Unger; grandchildren, Zane Unger, Emma Unger and Zevan Unger.

Eddie leaves behind: his mother, May Lang; sister, Ella Marie (Allen) Cameron; brother, Bill Lang; sister, Donna (Robin) Sipe; brother in-law, Dale (Liz) Swyripa; sister in-law, Laura (Kris) Swyripa; numerous nieces and nephews; and special mentions, Cathy Norman, Dean Horness and Blair Miller.

Eddie was predeceased by: his father, Russell Lang; father in-law, Peter Swyripa; mother-in-law, Eileen Swyripa; and brother in-law, Dwayne Swyripa.

The Memorial Service for Eddie will be conducted from Kitscoty Ball Diamonds, Kitscoty, AB on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Eddie's obituary.
