Herman Benson passed away in Lloydminster, AB on May 30, 2025 at the age of 89 years.

Herman is survived by: his loving wife, Helen (Babe) of 66.5 years; children, Brad (Brenda), Heather, Gib, Stacy (Lesley); grandchildren, Scott, Stephanie, Katelyn, Craig, Eddie, Aaron, Mike, Sarah, Leissa and Tim; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rema Boisvert and Fern Melnechuk; brother, Dean Benson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Herman is predeceased by: his parents, Henry and Delima Benson; siblings, Margarete, Cora, Maurice, Hector, Leonel, Ray, Glen; brothers-in-law, Emile Boyer, Leo Letourneau, Don Buksa, Gilbert Boisvert, Buddy Melnechuk; sisters-in-law, Peggy Bulduc and Carol Benson; and grandson; Shawn Rogers.
