B I O G R A P H Y


BOYCE: Helen Boyce passed away in Edmonton, Alberta on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at the age of 79 years.


Helen is survived by: four children: Shirley and her husband Jack White; Lauraine and her husband Keith Barber; Rodney Boyce and his wife Marilyn; SheriLyn and her husband Chuck DesJardins; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers Chester and Iris Misiak and John and Lorna Misiak; one sister-in-law Gwen Misiak as well as numerous other relatives.


The funeral service for Helen was conducted from the Vermilion United Church, Vermilion, Alberta on Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Anne McGrath officiating.


A eulogy was given by: Keith Barber.


Hymns sung were "The Old Rugged Cross," "Beyond The Sunset," and "Safe In The Arms of Jesus," accompanied on the organ by Glen Teasdale.


The bagpiper was grandson Damien Boyce.


Honorary pallbearers were: Chad Boyce, Travis Boyce, Sean DesJardins and Shane Purschke.


Active pallbearers were: Trevor White, Aaron White, Geoffrey Barber, Dustin Boyce, Derek DesJardins, Damien Boyce, Duane Barber and Reece DesJardins.


Interment followed in the Vermilion Cemetery.


McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.


Donations in memory of Helen may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
