Edwin Stewart Obituary

Edwin Richard Stewart was born November 1, 1915 in the Earlie District, South of Kitscoty. He passed away quietly in his sleep on February 17, 2005. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Jessie; daughters Vicki Page (John) of Kitscoty; Janet Stewart (Arnie) of Yellowknife and six Grandchildren, Justin, Brenton, Chad, Kyle, Bret and Kaitlyn; Brother Willie Stewart and Sister-in-Law Kathleen Stewart of Lloydminster; Brother-in-Law, Lynn Randall of Calgary and Cousins and Nieces and Nephews.


The funeral service was conducted at the Wesley United Church, Kitscoty on February 22, 2005.


The Family would like to thank: the Community for their show of support by phoning, visiting and much-appreciated food offerings; the Wesley United Church Ladies and the Community Hall Committee for preparing and serving the luncheon and those who honoured Ed’s memory by sending beautiful bouquets. Also, thanks to Rev. Bob Aldrich, the Choir, Gail Hiltz and Carol Mackintosh for singing the duet; and to McCaw’s Funeral Home for their gentle and understanding handling of the funeral preparations.


A special thank you to Ed’s beloved Grandchildren who were the Pallbearers.
