Our sincere condolences to Kai’s family, upon hearing of his passing. He and my dad (Jack Leighton) formed a close friendship while they were both residents at the Pioneer Lodge. They spent hours reliving their farming days and especially loved talking about their work horses. I can only imagine how they must be enjoying each other’s company now that both have earned their angel wings!
