To all the Hozack family so sorry for the loss of a such a great man. As I thought about the memories I have shared with Jim since I was a young man being coached by him through all the years as I played for him with and against his family members and then later in life either coached his grandsons along side Brian or watched as his grandkids and my kids along side each other in ball and hockey I realized how much influence one man can have on so many people. He has left a legacy that you can all be so proud of and a great example to follow. Our deepest sympathies and prayers go to all this great family. Dale and Christine Sunderland

Colleen, Rick, Eileen, Brain and families,
It is especially sad to lose, from the few that are left, another well-known and respected pillar of the Marwayne community; especially through his dedication, commitment and support to hockey. Jim made such a difference! He helped promote positive values like teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship, which contributed to the overall well being of our community. You got super lucky if Jim was one of your coaches!!
In much later years, it has been a true pleasure to see Jim out at a community event, many of them helping Colleen with her amazing catering services; it just wouldn’t be the same if you didn’t see Jim carving and serving that delicious beef at the end of the buffet table, with that smile and tinkle in his eye. It has also been fun to follow Jim on social media through his families posts and see him “always there” supporting his grandkids with so much love & pride. Having a visit with Jim would guarantee to make your day better & brighter.
You sure will be missed and remembered fondly, Jim.
Thinking of the entire family during this difficult time. His legacy lives on through each of you.
RIP, Jim.
