I am sorry to hear of Alice's passing . We have been friends since 1974. I enjoyed phone calls and and visits with her. She will be missed.

Alice was much more than a treasured friend . Alice was like a sister to me. She had one huge caring heart. Since my husband passed away 4 1/2 years ago now she rarely missed a week where she didn’t call me. We talked and talked, laughed, sometimes cried and talked some more and before we knew it an hour or more had passed. Having both been teachers and close friends for so many years, we reminecised about times gone by and experiences shared. Alice also had a deep and abiding faith and love for the Lord and longed for others to come to know the love of Jesus. We may have been miles apart but we were so very close in heart. I already miss her more than words can say.
I received the following quote from another friend the day I learned that Alice had gone to her heavenly home. It read -
“Many people will walk in and out of your life. But only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.
.,,and Alice left so many in my heart - too many to count!

We are less with the passing of Alice.
I first met Alice when I was 12. Despite moving away from the area, I have many memories of her ! We exchanged xmas greetings and what that year was for each of us. Alice was kind person and liked to laugh. She loved her family and was not shy of her faith. Alice was a love in action person. I will sorely miss her.

I taught with Alice from 1974 - 1978. As a teacher Alice was hard working, professional and compassionate. A great teacher and a great colleague: Friendly, helpful and positive. Just an all around great woman and the first person I ever knew to own a microwave oven. I am sorry to hear of her passing and offer condolences to her family.

My deepest condolences to Alice’s family. Mrs. Smith taught me Kindergarten. She was a fantastic teacher and holds a special place in my heart. Seeing her on occasion at the post office and the grocery store she always greeted you with a warm smile. She will be missed.

My condolences to Alice's friends and Family. She was a favorite teacher of mine, I loved her style even as a grade 4 kid! Enjoyed reconnecting with her at the Lodge when she visited. A lovely lady who will be missed by many.
