When I think of Eddie, stories come to mind. He was either the star of the story or the best storyteller you ever met. With having the privilege of him being my Uncle Eddie, my entire life has been filled with stories about him or told by him and I am forever grateful for this. For me the only thing better than the content of the story was the end punctuation of his magnetic laugh making everything he said the funniest thing I ever heard. The only thing bigger than his room filling personality was his heart. He was truly one of a kind. Eddie will be missed by everyone that knew him, but will live on forever in our hearts and stories.

I remember Eddie always being at the golf course. And when I was little his huge plates of food at Christmas at Auntie Eileens. We used to wonder as kids how he ate it all and where he put it. I haven't seen him for many years but he was a great man. Condolences and hugs to all my family on your loss.

My condolences to Eddies family. Eddie will be missed in the community. I was the one who took over his second home. The Kitscoty Golf course early 2000’s for 2 yrs. It was a big job to take over his golf course. A great person. - Ray

I knew Ed as a childhood friend when our families would camp together at Ross Lake. We had fun times together and I remember competitive races on the beach. In later years we appreciated Ed’s help doing yard work and planting flowers for us when we couldn’t keep up when our company became very busy. Ed will be missed by many but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Ed had a great passion for flowers. He knew lots about them and shared his plants with anyone that wanted to grow one. The Kitscoty Golf Course was amazing when Ed was looking after it. You always found a beautiful collection of flowers when you got to the next hole to tee off. Deb and I enjoyed that course as we usually played with Barb. Ed would check on quite often as Barb hated to loose a ball and Ed would hunt until he found it for her. The Islay Care Centre was also a place where Ed shared his love of flowers. He volunteered his time making it a more beautiful place to live. The residents loved the flowers and enjoyed his company. Once again always ready to give .

Eddie was an amazing brother. He had boundless energy and enthusiasm and the kindest heart. He once gave a stranger, who was down on his luck, the shoes off his own feet. He was dearly loved and will stay forever in my heart.
