John A Dufresne passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on December 27, 2025 at the age of 79 years.

John is survived by: his loving wife, Jenny; daughters, Laurie-Anne, Wanda (Jason) and Janice (Waylon); sons, Ronnie (Laurie), Henry, Daniel (Veronica); adopted granddaughter, Layna (DooDoo) Angus-Naistus; siblings, Margaret Johansen, Annie Stanley, Betty Dufresne, Vivian Dufresne, Yvonne Dufresne, Georgina (Ken) Miller, Frances (Sylvia) Dufresne, Harvey (Joyce) Dufresne, Joe (Dorothy) Dufresne, Kenneth (Pam) Dufresne, Melvin (Esme) Dufresne, Christopher (Jenn) Wells, Harold (Tammy) Blackman; extended family, Lily, Peter, Dunlop, David and numerous other extended family and friends.

John was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Verna Dufresne; adopted parents, Charlie and May Muskego, Mike M Simon; siblings, Charles, Henry, Mable; infant daughter, Mary; children, Jamieson John, Roseanna and Joanne; grandchildren, Johnathan, Jarrett and Braden; in-laws, Fred Parenteau, Arthur Stanley, Cecelia Moyah, Sylvester Cardinal, Rose Naytowhow, Shania Moyah, Herman and Ruebin Moyah; nieces and nephews, Cherie Moyah, Rhonda Moyah, Patricia Hill, Marcia Whitstone, Kyle Dufresne, Cheyanne Dufresne, Lorine Dufresne, Tammy Jo Dufresne, Lance Stanley and Connie Saliwonczyk; adopted brothers, Alex Harper and Jerry Lameman; cousin, Marjorie Waskewitch.

The Wake for John will be conducted from Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake, SK on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 1:00 PM.

The Funeral Service for John will be conducted from Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake, SK on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
