It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander (Alec) Byron Ruhl, who passed away at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, AB, on August 22, 2025, at the age of 78 years.

Alec is lovingly remembered by: his wife, Michelle; sons, Alex and Byron; daughters, Whitney and Colleen; step-daughter, Nicole; grandchildren, Sawyer and Seth, Turner and Maddox, and Liam; as well as his sister, Bonnie; and brother, Ronnie. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was predeceased by: his daughter, Lianne; sister, Sharon; brother, Bob; and parents, Eileen and Alexander Sr.

A Funeral Service will be held at McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, AB, on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alec’s memory to Ducks Unlimited Canada.
