Melanie Hazel Spies passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, SK on September 20, 2025 at the age of 58 years.

Melanie is survived by: her parents, Melvin and Joan Spies; siblings, Lynette (Neil) Pollard and their family, Travis (Lindsay) Pollard and their children: Owen and Chloe, Brandon (Kathryn) Pollard and their children: Riona, Quinn, Cassidy; nephew-in-law,Terry Bota; Trent (Kim) Spies and their children: McKenzie Spies (Andrew Sonne) and Taylor (Travis) Currah; Loralie (Troy) Jacobs and their family: Ashley (Sam) Thompson and their children: Malachi, Nahum and Amos, Tyler (Nicole) Jacobs and their child: Alora, and Timothy Jacobs; and Wade (Wendy) Spies and their children: Kendall Spies and Courtney Spies (Éric Ouellet).

Melanie is predeceased by: her brother, Carey Spies; sister-in-law, June Spies; and nieces, Michelle Spies and Whitney Bota.

The Celebration of Life for Melanie will be conducted from First Baptist Church, Lloydminster, SK on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 2:00 pm. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Melanie's obituary.
