Denise Gayle Carter passed away at St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon, SK on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the age of 52 years.

Denise brought love, kindness and light into this world with her beautiful smile and bright personality. She made sure that everyone felt included and welcome. Her soft touch and sweet love will forever be missed.

Denise is survived by: her soulmate, Sebastian; sons, Aaron (Hailey) Waldron and Navarro Lane; daughters, Cheyenne Waldron and Karma Lane; grandkids, Ava Waldron, Kaligha Waldron, Emma Iron, Kaligh Waldron and Shiloh Waldron; mom, Florence Opissinow; sisters, Marilyn, Vivian (Donald), Cindy, Arlene and Vanessa (Rodney); and lots of nieces, nephews adopted sisters and brothers.

Denise is predeceased by: dad, John Opissinow (1978); brother, Leroy Opissinow (2024); sister, Beverly Carter (2021); grandmother, Lena Carter (2019); and grandson, Dryke Carter (2025).

The Wake for Denise will be conducted from Round Hall, Onion Lake, SK on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM.

The Funeral Service for Denise will be conducted from Round Hall, Onion Lake, SK on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
