It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Francis Richard Tucker on July 10, 2025 at the age of 89. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Francis was born in Lashburn, SK to Walter and Grace Tucker. He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Shirley Tucker and their children, Kevin (Christine) Tucker, Shelly Tucker and Kelly (Tanya) Tucker. He was a proud grandfather to Cory (Chelsea) Lucas, Courtney (Sam) Lucas, Ryan Lucas, Zachary Tucker, Mackenzie Tucker, Abbey Tucker and Cadence Tucker. 

Francis was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Grace Tucker; siblings, Marian Myers, Denis Tucker and Jean Tradewell; father-in-law, Mervyn "Pete" McConnell; mother-in-law, May McConnell; and son-in-law, Kevin Lucas. 

Francis spent his life on the family farm just south of Lashburn. He will be fondly remembered by his family for his easy-going nature and quiet strength. A patient and loving grandfather, he encouraged his grandchildren to be themselves and took great joy in watching their playful antics. 

A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
