Marci Sandra Elaine Downes, 35, of Lloydminster, AB, passed away on December 12, 2025.

Marci was born in Truro, Nova Scotia on November 20, 1990. She went to high school at Lloydminster Comprehensive High School. She enjoyed the Karaoke Nights, biking and swimming in lakes and Oceans. Marci was known for her kind heart and generosity and resiliency.

Marci is survived by: her Mother and Father, Laverne and Andrew Downes of Lloydminster; son, David; daughter, Chloee; brother, Collin (Shelby) Okatokes; grandmother, Lois Green of Nova Scotia; aunt, Elaine Green (Donald) Hubley of Nova Scotia and Wendy Downes of Calgary; uncles, Adrain Downes of Calgary and Phillip Downes of Calgary; along with many cousins.

She is predeceased by: her grandfather, James Frank Green of Nova Scotia; grandparents, William (Bill) and Audrey Downes; and cousins, AJ and Tylor Rhude of Ontario.

The Funeral Service will be conducted from Lloydminster, AB, at 2:00 PM, Friday January 9, 2025 with Pastor Lyle Berg officiating.The burial for Marci will be at a later date in Fox Harbour Community Cemetery, Nova Scotia . 

McCaw Funeral Services  administered the funeral arrangements.  

Donations in memory of Marci may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
