Dryke Jerome Carter passed away at Onion Lake, SK on August 4, 2025 at the age of 21 years.

Dryke is survived by: his mother, Dawn (Christopher) Chief; his father, Cory (Audrey) Carter; his maternal grandparents, Mary Ina (Boyd) Stanley and Marvin; his paternal grandparents, Cindy (Larry), Marilyn, Vivian (Donald) and Sharon; his paternal great-grandmother, Florence Opissinow; his siblings, Nevaeh, Lynelle, Sadie, Souleil, Zayn, and Zaevion; his maternal aunts, Brittany and Kira; his maternal uncles, Marvin Jr., Delaney and Shadaine; his paternal aunts, Sonia, Tiffany (Germaine), Kayla, and Lakota (Cruz); and his paternal uncles, Matthew and Christian.

He is predeceased by: his baby brother, Darius Carter (2014); his maternal grandparents, Brenda Chief (2021), Rose Stanley (2019), Annie Chief (2012), Bill Peechow (2012), Annie Stanley (2009) and Thomas Chief (1988); his paternal grandparents, Roy Morin (2021), Leroy Opissinow (2024) and Beverly Carter (2021); his maternal auntie, Kyndra Chief (2025); his paternal uncle, Devin Belly (2021); his great-grandfathers, John George Opissinow (1978) and Ernest Jr. Dillon; and his great-great-grandmother, Lena Carter (2019).

The Wake for Dryke will be conducted from Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake, SK on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM.

The Funeral Service for Dryke will be conducted from Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake, SK on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
