Paul LaClare Obituary

The family of Paul Aime LaClare sadly announce his passing in Turtleford, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the age of 47 years.

Paul is survived by: his loving wife Elaine; three children: Blaire and her husband John Koop and their son Avery; Fabian LaClare and Nikki LaClare; his mother Marie LaClare; siblings: Larry LaClare and JoAnn McCaffrey; Maurice and Diane LaClare; Pat and Neil Suttill; Cami and Denis Jullion; Moni and Gary Wappel; Paulette and Duncan MacRae; Bernard and Lynette LaClare; Denis and Vicki LaClare; eight nieces; twenty-one nephews; three grandnephews as well as numerous other relatives.

Paul was predeceased by his father, Gilbert LaClare on April 10, 1980.

Paul’s personal relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ meant more to him than anything else. It was this faith that was at the heart of everything he was and did. His honesty and integrity and the pride he took in doing the best with whatever he put his hand to will be remembered by everyone who knew him. Elaine and his kids were the most important things he had on this earth. He knew that he could take nothing with him so he invested his life and time with the people he loved. The moment he passed Jesus said to Paul, “You’ve run the race, you’ve finished well, enter in good and faithful servant.”

What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits towards me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord, now in the presence of all his people. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Psalm 116:12-15

The funeral service was conducted from the Edam/Vawn Playdium on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Pat Duffin officiating. Hymns sung were “As The Deer,” “Come Thy Fount,” “He Wrote My Name,” and “Amazing Grace.”
